    Just buy something like this: Clarke CHT548 - 300 Piece Home Garage Repair Kit - Machine Mart Should have you sorted for basic repairs, and buy special tools when you need them.

    At 17 with one years no claims bonus it is very hard to get a good deal but £2000 on a 1994 2.5 turbo diesel Land Rover Defender under my name is not bad concidering my mate with a 1.2 Vauxhall corsa paying £2,500, so it is good to shop around! (took me a month to find an insurer!) :D

    Not one to p1ss on the fire, but I ordered a filter kit and some clutch parts from Land Rover Parts Shop and all was packaged so perfectly with such amount of bubble wrap and great delivery timing I had to thank them! You must of had a bad day with them because that filter looks bad! :eek:

    I just passed about 9 months ago and had a crash in the companys micra the other day :doh: some old git 'didn't see' my break lights when I was coming to a stop and went into the back of me crapping the back up thank god it wasn't in the landy or would of been more than words getting thrown...
