Great Dorset Chippie Run Part Deux

That really depends on how many seats you have in your car and how many are already occupied. Take the number of occupied seats from the total number of seats in the vehicle and what you have left is the number of seats available. If this number is the same as or greater than the number of...

    Chequerplate

I put some black plate on my wing tops and sills, reason for wing tops was same as previously mentioned as it makes loading onto the roof rack easier. Did the sills just for cosmetic purposes.

Great Dorset Chippie Run Part Deux

From reading what Boomer has posted, I would say that you are unlikely to need any specialist equipment. This will be a gentle days laning with the emphasis more on enjoying Dorsets scenic routes as opposed to mud.

Interesting to hear that you have had similar problems, I am hoping now that I have given the rad and inter cooler a decent clean that the problem will be resolved. Although you didn't let water into your cab, under the seats where the ECU is and battery on the other side, there are drain holes...

    Free to a good home

Yes but he has said that he cannot afford to move house, in which case surely, albeit a very difficult decision, he has made the right decision to put his wife and kids needs before that of the dog. The dog will go to a good home, it's not like it's being abandoned.

    Free to a good home

Landlord sounds completely heartless and I suspect he was hoping you would move and not rehouse the dog. I'm surprised that tenants are not covered by law against such unscrupulous behaviour and changes to tenancy agreements but then the law is an ass. No rent hikes for 10 years does sound like...

When the problem occurs, one of the symptoms is the temp gauge rising to max temp very quickly and then dropping back down to cold, almost like its possessed. But yes only happens when on a decent run and engine is at optimum temp. Beer : The cause of & solution to, all of life's problems -...

I have been at the rad today with a wire brush and think I have removed the worst of the mud and most of the skin on me knuckles. I have been out for a bit of a drive and so far no reoccurrence. The true test will be next week when I have a 300 mile round trip to see a man about a dog. LandyZone...

I've seen something similar used in a film but they weren't cleaning dirty rads. Will a soft brush and water do it (I won't use me hosepipe honest guvnor)

Gents, thank you for your replies, they are much appreciated. I haven't yet had chance to have another look at it other than a quick peak at the rad. Remember that I am a mechanical retard so forgive my stupidity. When I look thru the front grill I see the rad or is it the inter cooler? The...

I asked for quote from an independent Landy place in Bognor Regis and they wanted £150, I haven't had it done yet and even if I had I wouldn't be able to comment for at least a few years, assuming it does it job. Beer : The cause of & solution to, all of life's problems a Homer Simpson
