    2nd gear in cold weather

So to clarify you have this issue when its WARM? Get some Evolution 1 from Difflock - has made a big big difference to alot of people who had selection issues.

What do people think of the turbomag fuel saver magnets?

hahaha sadly nothing will achieve that...well except a V8 or a tape recording of a V8:D

What do people think of the turbomag fuel saver magnets?

Dont believe a word of it. Save yourself some money and sellotape a loudspeaker to the fuel line:cool:

No longer a Warning more like just whinging: Pro-Bitz

As someone who is in business, mistakes happen, its a fact. Its also a fact that even the best companies make mistakes, mainly because we are all human, and its feckin sods law that when a mistake happens its to that customer who needs a smooth transaction more than any other. Barely a week...

Broken drill bit in cylinder head.

I would advise breaking it and try and get as much money back as possible. Or post some pics on here and highest offer wins!

My P38 Winch is now fitted.....! Drool....! lol

Looks awesome - no way it could be mistaken for a Gaylander...too big, too agressive and anyway weight of the winch would have made the doors fall off by now...thats proof enough lol My only comment is...all looks great, much better, but definitely time for some new tyres now...and matching...

    1990 Defender advert

Brilliant. There is an element of truth what they say "No matter what they will always run in the family. Or rather, run and run and run". They missed out the maintenance work needed to keep them running, but then not many vehicles make you want to, so guess its what makes them so special.

    Interior Heating????

lol munchies? Num num indeed:D @ OP Put a flush through the system, then drain, then flush using hosepipe. then refill. then bleed, then check again. I would not be going to a dealer and paying for something that I could do at home. If you search the forum you will find full instructions for...

    265 Tyres and Mud!!!

    Mud + land rover = :D
  11. F

    Should I bother?

Well just my two penneth, dont buy any Land Rover unless you can do any work it needs yourself. As everyone else has said avoid the petrols they are ****e. On a positive note, Land Rovers have the best independent support network consisting of forums and local enthusiasts and clubs etc so help...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Where do I start:rolleyes: Fitted new samco boost hoses...all ok no problem. Then the EGR kit...oh dear, bastid of a job. A bolt snapped in the egr port on exhaust manifold. Had to buy a right angle chuck to get in there and drill it out...took forever and lots of running around buying stuff...

    any legal boffins on here?

Dont do the above:rolleyes: Ultimately you want them to volunteer to rectify it whether they are in the wrong or not and accusing them of foul play will only **** them off and make the distance to resolution longer and more complicated. Be NICE! At least in the first instance, and as someone...

What have you done to your Landie today.

    another knocking noise!!

Yep cheers Battenburg solved my issue too :) Thanks mate
  17. F

The Big Debate - Britpart or S**tpart?

You get what you pay for I suppose. If a genuine front cam seal is 12 quid with the vat and you see one for half the price there is a chance it could be ****e and cause more problems than its worth. Its not worth the double labour cost, to remove/refit, to skimp on quality parts.
  18. F

well that left a hole in my wallet !!

sounds like a good price actually some people are charging that alone for a waxoyl!!! and all that oiland filter stuff is important...diffs, gearboxes and fuel pumps are pricey!

    LPG conversion b@ggered the gearbox!!!!

been there done that and one of the many reasons i wouldnt touch lpg with a barge pole unless it was an install done by Blaze Gas in Wiltshire - he is the best. There are that many cowboys fitting lpg and frankly to release a vehicle which isnt running right takes the ****ing **** when you have...
