    well the AA are dealing with it now, they told me that they could get into any vehicle so we'll see what happens! drivers door lock is buggered thats why it wont open/unlock or let me do anything with it. if i can get in it i can fit a new door lock mech than start the re sync process again.

    and it gets worse... it now will not unlock the drivers door at all. the sidelight symbol will flash occaisionly to the left and not at all to the right. time to burn it methinks

    feckin POS....................... it now says key code lock out, i tried the eka code in the door and the sidelight symbol is not flashing at every turn of the key....

    nope that didnt work wammers, when she locked it on the key it locked all the doors but when i put the key in and turned it it only unlocked the drivers door.... kinda reluctant to try the key in the door re-sync as i can drive it at the minute

    its a 2000my BUT a lot of the stickers parts etc have 99 dates on them... the key in ignition sync did not work, just very reluctant to try the key in the door sync as if it doesnt work then i'm back to being immobilised!

    well i finally got round to bodging my blend motor today, easy enough to get to, took off the blend motor and just moved the flap opposite to where it was and voila! warm air!! i used a small cable tie to hold the flap in this position and tied the blend motor out of the way. hardest part was...

    i've a 1998 xedi and yesterday the throttle pedal started making what can best be described as a high pitched hissing sound on a steady throttle, if you press the pedal or release the pedal it stops..... its definately not the intercooler and associated pipework as it only does it on a steady...

    rear wash wipe problem

    well i know what the trouble is then vissie!! the rear window regulator is fubar and the rear door/roof seal thing has been modded to allow the door to be opened without the window dropping :cool: works and doesnt leak.... now how do i find the park signal to disable it?

    the rear wash wipe and wiper along with the heated rear screen are not working, i have power to the switches and the switches make a circuit when pressed, i have swapped the relays in the rear around and nothing works? oh its a 98 FL1 diesel if that helps! fuses are all ok as well.

    the passenger side is stuck on cold all the time apparently the motor stalled on re-callibration. me being a tight arse was wondering if i could pull out the blend motor and just jam the thing so its blowing warm all the time?

    just gone to order a timing belt kit from my parts man and he asked me do i need a 112 or 114 tooth one its a 1998 L series diesel. do i need to do the water pump as well or just belt and tensioners?? thanks!
