On both axles, of my LR 90 B reg, the breather pipes have detoriated... mmmmm. and just hang around the axle level breathing. i see 2 hook like rubber pipes comming out on the right hand side of the oil filter in the engine bay. i think the lines go down, of course, and then filter along the top...

In my "new" 1984 90 we think the diff knob is twisted round. As was the gear knob... So how does the diff knob go??? looks like WINDOW _____¦H Steering wheel...

Thats a lie iv got both, but theyre nakard. My 1986 90, soon it will be mine! has seats that are rubbish and seatbelts that could do with a bit of attention or to be more specific replacing. So heres what i want, refurb original seats or as close as poss, but not bucket seats i dont like em...

Ha HA i think wheels are okay... the snorkel should be alright but in a way its an engine mod. and being a young scrapper the ins. company will pick up on it when i declare it and go "NO, MORE MONEY" grab me by my ankles and ring me out. not impressed! But i dont see why a diff guard or rock...

just to let a person know theyve been torqued correctly or just generally tightend up properly, has it been recently worked on??

As the Q states in a round about way, what modifications can i do to a yet to be aquired 1985-90 90. do things like bigger wheels chunky tyres, snorkels, diff guards, rock sliders.... do they effect insurance and what else can i do to prepare it for a bit of light 4x4ing or greenlaning that...
