    Sounds like air bags to me, Weird (intermitent) things can happen. But it's an easy job to check with a spray of soapy water. and if they are 5 years old change them anyway cos they will fail soon.

    It is set up to lock on driving, all the other doors do and this one used to but has recently stopped.

    What is strange that I didn't mention is that it does lock with the fob so that would make me think that the motor is OK, It doesn't lock though as you drive away but all the others do.:confused:

    Did you come up with a solution for this? mine has just developed the same thing but only with one door (the nearside back door). Just as you describe it wont unlock with the fob, and doesn't lock when you drive away.

    I don't understand, What has the sounder got to do with it? it wouldn't sound unless the alarm was on, and if the alarm was on you wouldn't be able to go through the re-programming routine. Am I missing something?

    Try cleaning the laser, are you using genuine CD's or copies? copies are darker so the laser can struggle to read them unless it's clean.

    You can get the code from any main dealer. I once did it over the phone (so much for security). You can also get a plug that plugs into the socket but nothing to stop either wiring straight in or scotchblocking.
