spent the morning stripping the interior out of the back of the disco to see how bad the tin worm is.. lordy has he been hungry. :eek: looks like a new boot floor and a loads of other bits of welding next week then.. dont you just love old disco's:violent:

spent money on a suspension lift and tried to fix the blowing manifold...

changed the diff oils on me disco... not sure what was in em, but it didnt look or smell like oil :eek: :eek:

i get aboot 15 mpg in my lpg disco on carbs...

seen better days then that diff.....:D

that is truely one of the worst vehicles i have ever seen....

tried mondeo... and vw beetle, although you never said if it was the proper one or the new ****e... So tried both:D :D (neighbours look ****ed now, dont think they know how to put it back on) How about a tube one..?? Or should i just crack out the tools and make my own..???;)

Ow-doo.... anyone have any sugestions as to where i can get a 'different' rear bumper for my disco 1..?? i have seen the heavy duty type that look a lot like the standard ones, but better made, but i wanted something a bit different really..:rolleyes: cheers in advance....:D

mine are underslung and it has seen some good off road and green lane action... not had any probs at all... Tucked right up out of the way though, quite a good job..

just been for a longish run, all seems ok. Will have to check out the mixture to see if its ok. Any idea what is the best way.? Will a co2 meter do the job ok.?

erm,,,,, the bits i mostly fiddled with (on the disco..) were,, there are two large bore pipes, coming off the carbs and joining into a Y piece then going into one pipe...(does this make any sense..??) Think they are water pipes..?? Anyhoo... on the Y piece is a knob with a spring...
