I took my freelander in to the council MOT station and left i with them, when i went back i was told they had to suspend the test as the brake test kept showing a fault !!! When i told the tester it was a4x4 he said "OH that'll be why then" at least they arranged a test at a competent garage...

Ok i've had the oil standing for about 8 weeks now so i should be able to drain the water off, question is, will it be obvious when i've i reach the oil??

Any idea how much you can get away with?

I may be completley wrong but i'd think if it was water in the fuel tank it wouldn't be able to smoke as it would bugger the engine:confused:
