o ok thats good. So is it a remap or ive heard mention of the ron box. Also would putting a turbo control valve on and maybe a boost gauge work well. What would be the higher limits of the turbo ,as in what boost could i run?

My 2.0 DI Turbo Freelander 1 seems to be letting oil slightly. As i am going to take it of and have it serviced. Is there a upgraded turbo i could procure to bolt straight back on as a upgrade Mod. Thankyou

Yep your right. It is enjoyable. The car industry is so mixed up. K series rover engines ,bmw mondeo. Is the duratec engine 3.0 in the mondeo freelanders. I just do subtle mods egr ect. The dayz of changing a whole car mechanics is heading to driving and washing.

If it is a 2.0 DI wich has a turbo. What other vehicles have the same turbo. Is the TD4 turbo the same. Is there a better turbo to replace it with . Would i need any management chip to use a diffrent turbo?

Ok so its a diesel turbo. I did not realize. I am new and thought the td4 was the turbo version.

Ok it was just the battery needed charging. The radio was aftermarket so lucky there. My other thread as it was the first day running the vehicle to work. It revved its tits of n blue smoke out of the back.

Hello my new to me freelander, that has been stood for a 5 month stint. I have run round in it fine but today it went on the moterway at 70 mph. The thing revved highly uncontrolled and smoke came out of the back. It lost fluids at the front but i am hoping it is just a pressure build up due to...

Ok i took battery of and its on a charge. I am hoping its just the battery. I am thinking its messed up the security. I will no more tonight.

Over weekend the battery was worn down. the car will not start.? It all looks good then doesn't turn over.
