    Air Suspension

I'm fairly new as well and had a number of EAS issues myself. Firstly the clicking is normal and its just the valves releasing pressure to level out the car. The first thing i would do is look at the compressor. Make sure your getting air into it and if its still happening then you can look for...

    Manual vs Automatic

I haven't had mine that long but i noticed a slight difference after fitting a PSI Powerbox. Was about 21/22 before and is now about 24/25 and is obviously more responsive also.

    Strange Noise

Apologies, i'm fairly new on here. Plus gas it is then.

Is there a particular tool to remove this one, or will a thin wall 27mm deep socket do.

    Strange Noise

Thanks wammers. I'll let it soak for 1 more day and buy the correct socket to try and shift it tomorrow. That will allow me to have a full day on my o ring replacement. Oh joy!!!

    Strange Noise

No, its snapped off at the base (No 1 injector). But as its the return nipple i was thinking of blanking it off and using the blanked off nipple on No 6 to return. But like you said its only going to get worse. I've soaked it in WD 40 overnight and will buy the right socket tomorrow and give it...

    Strange Noise

Your right, took the manifold off and when i pulled on the spill pipe the nipple came off with it. The trouble is the injector doesnt seem to want to move. How much pressure can i put on before it strips the thread. Or am i better off sealing up the snapped nipple and running a return from...

    Air suspension issue

I'm a new member and relatively inexperienced but i would agree with all the above. I had loads of issues with mine taking ages to rise in the morning. Then it would jump to wade height while on a journey, valves stick open, valves stick closed. I bought a new compressor seal kit (£15 from...

    Strange Noise

I did a few jobs the other day including oil cooler pipes, power steering pipe and glow plugs. All went well but i did notice a few little bubbles and deisel coming from the seat of the nearest (to the front) injector. Driving it home today and up to temperature when i heard a really loud...

    Central Locking Gremlins

Driving home from work today in some of the worst rain i've seen and my central locking clicked up and down. This happened a few more times during the journey (my arm was nowhere near the button honest). Is there any particular central control unit which is prone to water egress. Don't know if...

    Constant rear washer

Thanks, i'll try that. Its certainly worth trying before i think about looking at the BECM.

    Constant rear washer

I dont think so. I tried that first of all and it didnt appear to be stuck in. Although now its stopped i'm begining to think it may be. As Wammers said, if it was a problem within the BECM i would expect more than just a faulty washer and i wouldnt expect it to clear.

    Constant rear washer

When you say "it can be fixed" by who? (Main dealer/ independant or myself!) It seems very intermmitent as this happened last Sunday and it hasn't happened since.

    Constant rear washer

Thanks both. But no smells and no other problems (as yet). When i replaced the maxi fuse everything worked again. I'm just putting it down to a short of some kind due to the heavy snow. I'm now getting a low washer bottle warning but im afraid to re fill it just in case it starts back up!!!!!

    Constant rear washer

Hi, wondered whether anyone can help. Only had the RR for 6 weeks and i'm slowly working my way through the common faults and thought i was getting there. Out for a drive today and my rear washer (which has never worked) suddenly came on and wouldnt go off (even with the key out). I ended up...

Yes, for £5 plus postage its not the biggest gamble in the world but just thought i'd ask the question.

    Compatible Parts

Hi, would anyone know if there are any compatible parts for a P38 wing mirror motor. Mine has decided to give up the up and down action (works fine side to side). Ive taken it apart (without breaking the clip:)) and it seems interchangeable but Bearmach are telling me its a complete unit. Ebay...
