cracks/lines on dashboard where airbag is?

Looks as if the airbag has been deployed at some point, you really need to walk away from any RRS that is not 100%......within reason and price point

Great, thanks of the explanation, I had the ATF and filter changed changed last week by my specialist so pretty sure that's ok, one of the issues of not doing stuff myself I suppose

    Cruise control surging

Hi Keith No noting like that, the CC on this car has always worked really well, so that's why this is all bit weird. I have had some mechanical work done on the car recently, transfer box replaced etc but no fiddling with the electronics so I'm a bit mystified. It was all going so...

    DT engine knocking

There is a possibility that the tension idler is fouling the the plate on the crank pulley. When I refurbished my engine I started it up and the new tension Idler was just catching the plate and creating the most awful noise, from memory there are three or four raised castings on the crank...

    Bilstein B6 Yellow

Fitted Terrafirma about 12000 miles ago, 1 failed after about 5300 miles. road use only. They seemed pretty harsh but the edge is off them now after 12k. The general consensus is fit the original Boge, I wish I had done so.

heater blower fans got mind of thier own!!!

Replaced the transistors and as Keith mentioned a bit of a waste of time, I gained a little soldering/desoldering experience, but the r/h fan still ran full tilt. With a bit of reading, I found that the fans are controlled by output voltage from the HEVAC ECU +12v no speed +6v 1/2 speed 0v full...
