Going to look at a series 111 tomorrow. When asked if it had overdrive the seller said it had a 90 diff and so didnt need it? Should this be avoided? ANy problems commonly caused by fitting the 90 diff? Thanks Mike

Just going on experience of new cars here. Mass airflow meter on the throttle body? Throttle body itself? Hunting often caused by air leak somewhere. try clamping main air inlet just and see if it carries on running and if so can you hear the hiss from the leak? I am no mechanic but...

Do you know of any websites that show this being done? I saw an s3 at briercliffe with a drainpipe snorkel that looked spot on. Will have to be a drainpipe on mine as soon as I find the right one to buy!

I will be back! I got home no probs, steering noise seems to have gone. Had a look over a pit today and think its just a sump washer casting me ££ in oil! Only problem now is a strange thing with the brakes. After i drive for a few minutes my discs are hot. Stopped at services on way home...
