yup i would guess around the hundred quid an hour mark. saying that my next door neighbour has a ****ty vw golf, and he took it to a main dealer not so long back and their labour rate is £140 an hour!!!! i goto a back street ex-landy mechanic, and he charges around £60 per hour.

you can create your own, but you will need a laptop, some software and a gps receiver. the best software for this kind of job is memory-map (www.memory-map.co.uk). you can buy photographic area maps from them, and then load elevation data to make them 3d. you can then overlay your gps...

trust me, servicing is everything on a landy. any doubts about it at all, look at another, there are plenty on offer.

thats why in the freelander sales brochure it shows their fuel consumption as 600mpg. it fails to tell them that it isnt due to a revolutionary space-age super-efficient rover engine that can squeeze every ounce of juice to get it, simply due to the fact that they get dragged around like unruly...
