yes they work, but look on these forums first, there is a thread somewhere that has a step by step of what you need to buy and how to do it. parts are only a few pence as it consists of a resistor and some cable.

The 2.5DT has cloth seats, no air con, no elec seats, no trip comp. But it does mean it has less to go wrong! :)

the 18" twin spokes? i bought them on ebay for £200 quid. Twin Spokes & Hurricanes tend to go for around the £180 - £250 mark.

fyi i recently bought 18" twin spokes (from a 2004 vogue) for my 96 rangey and i bought the centre spiggots and new nuts for about £50 from ebay. i also splashed out an extra £30 on a new set of locking wheel nuts.

P38 pressures are 28 front, 38 rear.

i have a 96DT, and can pull my 1ton trailer + 750Kg easily without overheating. tbh I think you have other issues, whether its the need for a larger intercooler or making sure your viscous unit is fully operational, im not sure. are you losing any coolant?

i bought mine chipped already, but if you are good at electrics and can do it yourself i have seen adverts in various LR mags for just the chip at around £100*. A fully fitted service is quoted at around £400* * subject to availability! ;)

here you go, standard DSE alloys. Continental SUV 235x70x16 104T Tyres. A few scuffs on rims from mounting kerbs, but if you want them ill clean them up, as they came off my rangie and dumped straight in the garage.

ive just upgraded my 16" to 18" twinspokes, so i have a set of 16" P38 Rangie DSE alloys sat in my garage at the moment, all have continental 235X70x16 and at least 8mm tread left, any good for the swap?

Why you against diesel? I admit they aren't the fastest in the world, but if you wanted fast, you wouldnt be buying a landy! I have a 2.5DT P38 (BMW Engine) which is chipped and gives reasonable performance, and returns around 30mpg. It depends what you want to do with it, if you want to go...
