Ya, I looked into Series replacements, but they're different as well. I've sent an e-mail to Santana, hopefully I'll get a response within the next year heh. They're rather slow on that kind of stuff. But, I do have the right leafs for it. So, if I replace those I should be okay for the time...

Would these be stamped on shocks like standard Land Rover parts? Forgive me, I'm still pretty new to this.

Okay, so I ordered complete suspension replacements for my 88 Land Rover Santana 2500 DL. It's Basically a Defender 110. However, after receiving all of the shocks in, I realised that not one single shock is similar to what I have on my truck. Naturally, one would order the replacement parts...

Hey there, Before taking my Landy to the mechanic, I noticed quite a bit of black exhaust coming from the tailpipe. I picked it up today from the mechanic, added some fuel additive to hopefully clear up the exhaust issue. But, now I have the diesel engine spewing radiator fluid out of some vent...

I'd have that checked. Mine went and was extremely easy, and cheap to replace, but is a common problem from what I've heard. It looks like a little black box inside the centre console. You can take the black console tray out by a few screws if I recall correctly. If the board looks fried...

A look at the alternator and it's not bolted on entirely... Held on by one bolt. Also, the pulley is incorrect. So, of course the alternator is not charging the battery, because it's moving along with the belt. :frusty:

I don't know about others, but for me I have a specific style of music I typically play when driving my Landies. They have this "safari" like atmosphere to them, and so I typically listen to something African. So, two albums that are often played are E.S. Posthumus "Unearthed" or Afrocelts...

Having a complete engine and electrical overhaul done to my S3a. Yesterday I repainted all of the black trim, and detailed the interior.
