It's mainly for a trip to Morocco, the front vent flaps work well but was thinking, something higher up on your face would be good. Thinking of a retrofit safari roof as well.

Being inspired by 'Tom Sheppards Expedition Guide', I'm thinking about fitting a front 'rally type' roof vent scoop to my 110. Plenty are available on ebay, and I believe you use Austin Mini round dash vents on the inside. Question is has anybody done this? & how do you keep the water out?

On the rears put a small hole on the bottom middle of the rubber and loop around a cable tie on each. Next time you go off-road tie them both up with a bungee rope on to the bodywork- simple ;)

Painted a ex-MOD 110 hardtop a last month, it took me two weeks sanding with an electric DA, used 60grit pads followed by 180grit, for a nice finish. It's the only way of doing it properly. Invest in a good rubber dust mask, that infra-reflective nato paint sounds nasty stuff!

fit H4 Osram nightbreakers, they turn night into day. If you have sealed beams replace them with 'crystal clear' headlamp units 'E4' marked off ebay, they are not much more expensive and not only work better but give a much more modern look. Worth cleaning up the earth connections as well :D

I've picked up a unused lead-lined LT77 bellhousing blanket. It is made to wrap around in a cone shape and attach on to the other end by stitched on velcro. Question is what is the best way to fit it, do I need to remove the panels inside the cab and put it through there? Looked at engine bay...

when was the fuel filter change? Worth checking the fuel lift pump (take outlet house off and turn it over or manually pump it, to check fuel is coming out), I've replaced one on every landy I've owned!

Question is were do you get the bulb holders and LED bulbs, if they are even available? Want to do this to match...

surely the main restriction is the middle box, that's why there are upgrade straight pipe replacements? If I leave the small back box on it wouldn't be loud then? Checked with Rimmer Bros and my model is no longer available, but by heck they are expensive for the other models in stock:eek:
