Im guessing this isn't right! I only noticed then fitting my vent cable through and it sparked when hitting the firewall. I'm also guessing this might be related to my starting problem! Thanks all!

Hi all, I needed to replace the reverse switch for obvious reasons! I've now ordered 2 and both are too long, and 1 is too wide. It's for a 1994 200tdi defender. Anyone know what one to order! As far as I'm aware it's got its original gearbox!

I've tried a a couple.of batteries and don't think it's that end. Will try the ignition switch this weekend I think!

So I'm still trying to sort this out! Went out tonight turned over fast, started right away. turned the engine off after running for about 5mins. Tried starting it again clicked once then nothing. Then the dash showed nothing at all. No lights no anything. Took the key out back in, still...

Ok, battery tested. It's fine. Also tried using a jump lead to earth it and no change. If anyone has any ideas it'll be much appreciated!

Also, battery has been on charge all day and charger says its charged. I pulled the charger off 2mins before the video

Will do. Is it likely to be related to the battery's earth cable?

If its the battery Im confused why it Did it a few months ago, then worked fine for a number of months and Has now started again.

Its just had a new Speedo cable and indicator stalk hence lack of wheel. :bounce:

My charger says its fine and charged and my spare battery causes the same problem.......

Hi all. I pulled into a petrol station recently, filled up, came back to the landy and it wouldn't start. This happened about 4 months ago but then resolved itself. Its runs fine after a bump and the battery has had a good charge. Ive attached a video of the problem. Thanks Wes 200tdi...

Just a quick question! Ive replaced the bonnet pull on my 200tdi today but Im not sure all is right at the catch end! The pull is from a t5 as is the bulkhead. The latch doesn't seen to have anywhere to attach the sheaf? The attachment for the cable is there but not the outer. Does the td5...

Hi all My power steering failed today and on inspection 1 bolt was loose and 3 have sheared off. Can anyone let me know what size the bolts are please before I start trying to fix it all this evening. Cheers Wes

Initially mine was due to a bad contact with the bulb holder, then faulty relay. Hazards still not working properly but think that's the switch

Bad relay, 2 new britpart ones were both faulty.

Mine is flashing constantly, not just once. Maybe it'll fix itself too!
