Mike @ Dyna Chip is the only way to go, mine is a different truck TD5 Auto, lots of lovely grunt anytime i want it and if used normally with a light right boot you get more mpg as well. Nice bloke too !

Im no expert but search on here torque converter, they need to be warm before they go into top but this happens at about 50-55mph, someone will help ya mate, mine does this when cold 2001 auto es.

I think Traction Control too, although mine went through a period of making the noise (especially when accelerating over rough ground or even over a rised man hole) but not eluminating the TC light, i think it was a lose connection as the light seems to come on now every time i hear the noise...
