My Td5 does this and i was told that the pipes are strapped/attached to the body work or chassie and has the fluid (under pressure) moves through the pipes it amplifies the noise, off putting but i live with it. Mind you could be codswalup Ive been fed with.Just what i was told.

WOW ! fast reply, thanks. Temp gauge stays firm at half way point as many years ago it ran out of coolant and went into limp home, one HG later im paraniod about water levels and temp so i watch this all the time. Cheers tho
