hello my high beam doesnt flash. it either be on permantely or of. you know as when you flash someone out of a junction mine dont flash at all. it 97 p38 4ltr. my freind has the same problem with his which is more or less the same rangie. any help greatly appreciated.:scratching_chin:

yeah and what make ya rr and how much is the box?

reckon you have to get it plugged into reset the eas. it only a guess, but that what im thinking.

and check the oil level whist engine running and in neutral.

ooohhhhhh loads of money now.

what i would is drain the cooling system now and top up with RED antifreeze, buy a new cap and keep an eye on it you maybe be lucky and have no problems but you wont know unless you change the coolant.

yes i totally agree with you, if i had spent that much on a rangie {tho that never happen} i be sick as a dog with little fault like this and the stealers ripping me off. that part of the reason this forum was established, to help out each other.

you need another opinion from another garage really as sounds like you bein stitched up id say. yes drain blocks are easy to rectify after you found the pipe.look up from where the water had been inside the boot it has to be coming from there. be warned about the stealers some are genuine honest...

just a guess but behind the rear quater panel on both sides is where i think you will find a drain hole. that where they are on most vehicles.

i never had a sunroof that holds water in the roof. you need to find the drain point of the sunroof as it could be blocked.

you need the wheel nuts for them alloys as im pretty sure the p38 wheel nuts are different. also im led to beleive that you need 4 spigot rings as well as the centre bore on the wheels are different size than p38.

im not 100percent sure on this but maybe you need to reset the eas to clear the fault now ya airbags have been replaced. {chap on here called gavbriggs knows a fair bit on this hopefully he be around later with answers. been helpfull to me}

fit larger intercooler will be first port of call,as you know with a skyline that more air into engine will increase performance. also a free flowing exhaust will make the diesel shift bit better. you can get the ecu remapped but i dont know anybody who has it done.

some of it true, still i wont use them for anything. ive heard before that they not very pleasant to deal with and bloody expensive.

i managed to get mine plugged in £40 cash, made out i was skint which i am same as everybody else. took 15min to reset airbag check all codes for faults and no faults recorded. usually £55 which he said is the hourly rate they charge. that in surrey and the bloke a god send i tell ya.
