Could be, however, my td4 runs and starts everytime with that pump disconected! I carried out several tests after the AA man told me that my lift pump was u/s when my TD4 would'nt start from hot... he started it using easy start! my intermitent fault turned out to be the cam sensor... it also...

Most possibly the cam sensor...about £40...good luck....

Does the screw enter through the gap (slightly left of centre) between the pump and filter. I cant see one or a hole... Does anyone have a pici from a manual that shows it exactly please? Thanks....ED

Thanks. I have tried that. I do know that the engine breather filter needs changing and the MAF sensor is U/S. Would this cause the misfire only on tickover?

My TD4 has developed an anoying feature.. At tickover or very very light throttle settings the TD4 jerks a tad. It fine at all other throttle settings. Any ideas please?

The filter is fitted to the N/S inner wing. It looks like the assembly (pump and filter) are contained with a black plastic cover and is held to the wing by 4 x 12mm nuts. Has anyone changed the filter and how easy was it. The 4 nuts are really difficult to remove. Is there an easier way? How do...

Have a read of RR web site... I believe RR has developed his products using his own Rover75 car... and has developed several box's depending on your needs and pocket. Yes its not as pukka as a remap, but it does exactly what the box states, and at half the price!... After fitting a RR Synergy...

What pump did they change? Sounds like the cam sensor. Its around £40 and takes 5mins to fit. I would refit your old pump (if you still have it) and ask for a refund. You can fit the cam sensor yourself. To check the pumps, turn on the ign, then listen as the pumps hum. After approx...

Its perm front wheel drive with the rear driven via a VC.

Have a read of ROVERRON site.. He offers a PIERBURGH MAF and a mafam box that will sort out the basics. Or (as I did) go for a Synergy box and use your old MAF sensor. If your not happy you can refund...... ROVERRON TUNING. HOME

Wouldnt it be easier to take it to a laptop guru and see whats actually happening with fuel pressure and turbo boost...please let us know the outcome of the fix.
