Three nipples on the prop, diff oil (flush it if it's gotten low), swivels (don't trust the one-shot - check it), transfer box, gearbox, all are hollow and should have enough oil in to deaden sounds fairly well. Doesn't look too bad, a fair bit less than 1/8 turn. If you can feel a knock, look to suspension, with the drivetrain unloaded you will only hear a clunk.

Assuming you've got the tank out and in a dry place, if it hasn't dried out by now it's probably diesel. It'll lose its smell as the solvents evaporate, leaving behind an oily residue. Always best to assume the worst where safety is concerned anyway, and there's no sense in giving the MOT man...

Just done a google image search and FTC461 looks all wrong mate. If you've bolted it down good it should all go together like clockwork, but one or two surfaces do have potential to interfere if not fitted together dead straight and tightened down evenly. Manufacturer isn't all that important...

Just turn it round so the flat bit goes on the ground. It'll be a smoother ride with the matching ground contour.
