To be honest, it was the connection into the ignition feed, I used a tap connector (not a fan of them but didnt want to cut into the stereo loom), so took it off, cut the feed and used terminal connectors, turned the key and bingo! Checked the relays and they are wired in as per the diagram on...

Redhand thats sorted then, I've re-wired pretty much my whole 90, but not as yet had to wire in a 'new' relay, just replaced tired ones, but hey we all learn with every new challange!

Reading the gauge instructions it says that a fuse should be run inline with the power feed, should this be done after the relay, or before??
