now I am confused....are you talking about the rubber trim that sits on the roof and edge of the glass at the top of the screen...I just checked mine (04 plate) and its solid and it is the original one so what have they done to save it 3 times...any ideas cause I hope I haven't been shafted..lol

My top trim was fine and its been taken off 3 times, they are purely cosmetic anyway. I would wait and see how yours comes off before tou pay out any money

what they mean by the trim is the external plastic strip that is either side of the screen....when they take these off 9 /10 the clips break on them rendering them useless Had my screen replaced by autoglass had to call them back due to leak above rear view mirror due to first guy starting...

I have been advised to leave the EGR unit in situ and just blank off at the manifold end. I understand that if the law changes the EGRs will have to be put back on and they could well end up being like rocking horse droppings plus there is always the insurance issues.
