i read an article about this very noise in land rover mag. not sure which one. They reckoned its quite normal on spot work.

i have a 90 def . I have stuck with the 205's with avon a/t's simply because i can't fault them. if you grow to 235's your fuel comp will drop and and there will be more noise. being a tree fella i'm off road about 20% of the time and these tyres do ok.
