As I said the air hose in the engine bay doesn't look that good, it's fed from a 'military' snorkel on the drivers wing round the back of the engine to a 200tdi airbox on the passenger side, I have a smaller...

Air filters clean, looks reasonably new. piping from airbox to turbo looks a bit shabby so i'll see if I can get hold of some locally and renew it. would it be worth changing the lift pump presuming they're cheap enough. I'll see if I can find any id's on the Transfer box tomorrow. Thanks all

Not looking to break any speed records, just being able to get out of a junction safely esp when cold. It's been like that since I've had it, Engine was reconned 20k ago starts first time every time and doesn't smoke, is the defender transfer box a straight swap ? hmmm best check what's fitted...

My 86 110 is really slow from cold and I mean slow, a fully loaded artic would leave me trailing on acceleration. It's fitted with a 200tdi engine from a Disco and as the gearstick is where the middle seat would be I'm guessing that it has the Disco box as well, disc brakes all round as well, 3"...
