    leaky fuel tank?

PRC is a sealant used extensively in the aircraft industry worldwide, maybe if you have a maintainance facility at your local airfield / airport you could make an enquiry there. http://www.ppg.com/prc-desoto/main.asp Link to the main website for the company. Steve :)

    Tiny INDESTRUCTABLE again!!!!

Sams son Ite ... have you never heard of him ... designed the suitcase that is so well built that with weight allowances on aircraft all you can fit in it is a pair of boxers. Steve :D

    leaky fuel tank?

Silicone sealant is usually fine for spaceship toilet lines, but as its an outside loo PRC could be a handy option as its heat resistant as well. However, once its set you will probably have to crowbar the parts apart. Steve :-)

    leaky fuel tank?

Not sure how much a new or secondhand tank might cost if its not anything the other people here have posted about, but there is a cure if its a split in the tank. Get hold of a sealant called PRC 1422B or PRC 1422A, comes as a 2 part mix and is used extensively in the aircraft industry...

    Alternative Fuels and Government Taxation

Just to let everyone know I have sent 4 emails off today asking Tony, David, Ming (not our Ming, or maybe it is  ) and the Green Party, asking why the government wants to tax alternative fuels and does not give the individual a tax break when using these fuels. I'll keep this updated if and...

    Wheels Arggghh... can someone help?

So it would appear that you have a set of the wheels with the slightly smaller interior diameter fitted to the later models. So if someone who has one of those later models that is fitted with the wheels that have the additional holes as per your picture you could arrange a trade. Just a...

    Bio Diesel Database

We all like to save a few quid at the pumps these days, so I had the thought that if there was a list of garages that sold Bio diesel which looks to be about 20% - 25% cheaper than standard diesel we could be doing ourselves a favour. So if you know of a garage either local or one you have...

    Wheels Arggghh... can someone help?

I was just looking on Ebay and someone is selling a set of similar wheels to the ones you have with no extra holes (270014988715), he quotes the part number as RRC002960MNH. If that is the right part number for the wheels in his pictures and they are the same design as yours, then maybe a call...

    Wheels Arggghh... can someone help?

Just checked the wheels on my Freelander which is a SE but Y reg and they are the same design as the one shown as your spare. Could they be off an even later model that is very slightly different to yours? Steve:)

    V8 Freebie

Whilst browsing through Ebay today under a Freelander search I did notice a few 2.5 petrol engines up for auction. When the HG went on my MGF it cost just under £1300 to get it sorted and those engines on Ebay didn't seem that much more expensive. Of course the new engine could have all the same...

    Good things about Freelanders

The poor Hippo must be very frightened at the thought of a visit to the vets, having all its precious fluids drained off and then the whole vehicle gradually stripped away so that the pipe that the whole thing is built around can be changed. It's clenched everything tight and hence the leak has...

Me? A Cadillac? Sure, why not. I'm too upscale to be a Lincoln Navigator, yet shy away from being a BMW. I am the middle range, wanna be SUV. You are 71% Cadillac Escalade. Well at least its not a BMW  Steve:)
