    Any pics yet... Thinking of doing mine darker . The plastic roof pocket thingys and sunvisors would look much better sprayed to match.. just scrub them clean and buy some good plastic/vinyl spraypaint. Did all the plastic interior of an old rr, black and looked much better .

    Haha yeah, at above, best to remove the top two side seat bracket bolts or just take the ****erout if you dont use it. Have similar prob after taking out the offside rear light cluster to sort out corrosion on the body. Voltage to cluster but no light or brake light at the same bulb , bulb is ok...

    As someone above said, its probably cheaper to buy some decent tyres online over here and ship them over . Camskill for tyres are usually quite good and may ship to you .

    On the transfer box swap..... have been told that the output shaft from the 300tdi auto box is different to the manual box shaft...Dont know if its just a difference between disco auto and manual transfer boxes ..? Anyone ?

    Go for some that are heavy duty rated as well as a lift ,Ive got bearmach heavy duty which are a bit higher as well .cant remember part numbers but didnt fancy longer springs at the same rating as standard.

    Could it be just the drivebelt slipping as the turbo boost kicks in, before you go down the manifold route ? Check tension? and put a new one on and try it then ?

    Water leak needs to be plugged...

    As Dave said, get some decent sealant (sikaflex 221) and seal all along the gutters as the original seam sealer has probably cracked and lets water in the roof/side panel joint.Seems to have worked for me,do it once a year .

    I'm thinking of getting a winch fitted but the position of the oil cooler may be a problem as I want quite a close fitting bumper and winch. Has anyone succesfully moved one higher up or further back out of the way ? Have looked a a few possibilities but its just extending the pipes that might...

    Discovery not starting well in mornings

    THe sensor in the head half way along is the water temp.sensor for the ecu.there is another at the rear of intake manifold by the bulkhead,air temp. try renewing these ,mine seems to start first time now.

    Yep,this old chestnut again...lol. Well ive finally got round to fitting a new air temp.sensor in the rear of the intake manifold by bulkhead.bit of a bugger to get to and get connector off . Yes it is an auto with edc and have done everything else from sedimenter and new lift...

    Ha Ha ,I think its just one of those land rover things! discos leak ,and good luck finding it . Windscreen where it joins the roof-reseal,roof gutters-spread sealant along it,heater air intake-sealant around it. will probably drip in the rear quarter by the side windows as water runs inside...

    Was up there for a couple of hours lunchtime,then went to have a look up curber edge/gap,then back again. The site doesnt seem quite as big as it looks on google earth,but is ok when you get there,and all for a good cause.
