Is there any reason it turns over faster. Could it be the pump as last week when it was on the drive and I was starting it as I turned the ignition on the pump was making a bit of a funny sound.

Hi Idrego, o_Oo_Oo_Oo_OFinally I have got rid of those pain in the backside 3 amigos. Yesterday I went and bought a new Shuttle valve as per the nanocoms request only to find out some little grease monkey has already messed about with it as they snapped off the middle bolt and all 3 mounting...

Just checked the vicious fan and its mashed a LRM mag from cold so don't know if that means it's not working right as surely it should be not on as much from cold. But this must also mean it's on full when hot. Or have I got that all wrong.

I am currently prepping my new purchase for its mot on Monday. One of the many problems from my vast list is the electric air con fan which seems to be on all the time. I have pulled the fuse to stop it ready for tomorrow's mot. Is this ok to do or will it cause any damage to the air con.

Is there wiring for it where the dash switch goes then. Seen one on flea bay I'm watching with both parts you mention.

Ah that makes good sense. Tried to remove the shuttle valve the other day but the Alan key bolts were bloody stiff as hell and I was running out of light so bolted block back in. But will have it out tomorrow and try again and test the valve on my meter. :confused:

Whilst going through the many jobs I have to prep my Disco for its mot Friday I've noticed tonight that the electric sunroof switches are not illuminated with the lights on. Is this the case or is there a bulb gone behind them?
