i'm 99% sure i saw this going through hartley wintney on sunday at about 6.30 pm whilst coming back from shooting.it was parked outside a pub on the high street.

done it loads of times on bikes.mig weld around the inside of the old seat which shrinks them allowing them to fall out.warm the head gently with a blowtorch having put the new seat in the freezer the night before.it should just drop into place but might need a tap with a brass drift.

the only thing stopping my doors from going flat against the wings is the top bolt head on the bottom hinge,judicious use of an angle grinder would allow them to fold flat.

they must have been busy,mine is no.243 and was registered in early november 1971 so was probably made in october.

according to the chassis number it's the 5002nd series 3 produced,mine is the 243rd and is 1971.i'm not sure of the yearly production figures but i would think yours must be 1972 or '73.
