I dont want to waste a load of money to find they wont fit .... im sure someone must have tried ?!?!?

Looking at fitting a set of genuine TD5 door hinges to the fender, but have a query. Looking at my auld mans TD5, compare to my Ex-Mil, I am unsure if the TD5 hinges will clear the door cappings on the 2 part doors. Any advise before I put me hands in me pocket? Cheers Ben

Yep, mine does the same. If you have the normal canvas hood it should shrink tad, but bear in mind that if the XS is mohair or double duck then it probably wont shrink at all. I found the hood slaps of the roll bar support brackets, which cant be helped. It has never bothered me really, have...

Hi, Can anyone recommend a battery for a 2.5n/a 90? I have tried a td5 battery in today and it sits too high to fit the battery box cover back on. Looking for something with a bit more umph than the 70mah I have atm. Cheers Ben

Cheers - That was my thought, that or the UJ. Did ours clonk when you accelerated (especially when crawling in traffic!) I was a bit alarmed at the noise it makes (I normally have headphones in, but when the OH is in with me, I dont bother!!)

Hi. Having pressed the landy into daily use after selling the slitty, I am doing a fine tooth comb jobber on it in prep for the coming summer. I am new to this level of agricultural engineering, but happy to get mitts dirty and have a bash at fixing stuff. I have kinda sorted some leaks etc...

Tell tale on my 1992 90 is the trailer light flashing also - there isnt a red triangle at all. The original switch didnt have a bulb either. A replacement switch I put in did have a bulb but worked about 3 times then never flashed again.

I do want the ease of bungee, but if it is tied onto the tub fixings, then the sides wont be able to be rolled up without undoing them. I was hoping there was some sort of hook or toggle that could be used.

For day to day use Im good with knots, Im just more concerned that is will stop the sides being released and rolled up in the summer?

Hi, Just changed the rope on my canvas tilt over to bungee but hit a stumpling block. When it is tied off, the knots tighten to the point they cant be undone easily. Will be impossible if they get wet. How have people who have done this mod secured the bungee? I was thinking of toggles at each...
