As well on the oil side of things I remember looking into this for my Range Rover and ended up sticking to 10-40w mineral oil I can't remember the exacts why but I think the general consensus was that with it being an old design it was better to use the 10-40w

I'd say it's valve stems mate. Lpg doesn't have the lubricating qualities of petrol and rover v8 valve stems are notoriously vulnerable on gas. When I bought my classic range rover it was a non runner, being lpg converted it didn't take long to find the cause. No compression on 2 cylinders...

The car seems to be ok since changing the transfer box oil. So today I have been using my favorite tool... The Angle Grinder, The departure angle has now been addressed and all I need are some Jate Rings on the chassis.

I dropped the oil out of the transfer box and even though there was about 1 ltr inside it wasn't too bad colour wise and didn't look burnt. Anyway I put fresh ep90 in it and the light flickered for a few miles then went out and so far hasn't come back on :-/

I have read the codes and it's just the usual ac clutch and egr valve I'm forming the opinion that it's the transfer box as it is quite noisy when revving around 1800-2300rpm it's always done it but I suppose dropping the fluid won't harm for a start

Check the inertia, are you 100% sure you have the pulse off the coil as there isn't a lot of things on the 14cux to stop injector sequence when you say it fires on injectors what do you mean? What's fuel pressure like and quality of fuel I had to swap my injectors because bad fuel lines filled...
