What have you done to your Freelander today

That’s prolly worth a quid or two… I’m just thinking about making one for mine

What have you done to your Freelander today

Well done. Have to admit - I'd have been lazy and just bought new arms with the bushed fitted

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Secure lockbox

They were secure; hidden in a locked and alarmed vehicle.

Freelander 1 Andyfreelandy's get together, North Devon, September 13th

I read it as arrive Saturday, camp that evening and leave Sunday morning. That would also allow for a beer or two.

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Secure lockbox

A knife genuinely carried for ‘bushcraft’ or similar would be ok at the bottom of your rucksack, locked in the boot. I regularly have 3 or 4 shotguns in the car with me. Simply in the boot, unloaded and in gun slips (granted, they are not left unattended). You’d just need to be upfront if you...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Ooof - you'd better find a decent wine then!

I would just like to say

    Pot / kettle?

Freelander 1 Andyfreelandy's get together, North Devon, September 13th

I’m in for sure - now marked on ‘the calendar’. I might try and twist my daughters arm for her to bring my old F1 down too, but don’t bank on it 🙄 Whatever merch is available, I’d be interested. T-shirts and sweatshirts are always a winner, and a hat or two will always be useful. LZ (with the...

    I’d just find a better doctor 😉

What have you done to your Freelander today

This. Had me windows blinged, innit, ready to sell sum gear. Well ok, I’ve had them tinted, primarily to give a bit more shade for the pooch when she is in the back, and to give a bit more privacy when I’m travelling with my guns. Been thinking about it for a while now, and the recent hot...

    L322 GAP IID G3

Note; I’ve not used this site, but seen it advertised on anuvva forum. https://ltsdiag.com/ (Got my SDD from PO of my landie, here on LZ)

    L322 GAP IID G3

Agreed. And a quick search has SDD loaded on a 2nd hand laptop with a connector for ~£350

    L322 GAP IID G3

Yep - you need a laptop to run SDD - an old lappy will work fine. And you need a cable to connect obviously. It’s the dealer system. Depending on how much work you want to do, just find someone local with it to break reconfigure the bits you want doing? There are a couple of ‘places’ on the...

I’ve got SDD, and don’t understand more than about 3 screens. I did manage to program a key, so that’s a ‘thing’.

Welcome… First job - find yourself a better garage!

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Secure lockbox

If something is risky enough to warrant needing a safe, but small enough to fit in something smaller than a shoe box, why leave in your car in the first place? Just put ‘it’ the glove box out of sight, or the boot and pull the cover over - no one will know that ‘it’ is even there in the first place.

Oooof! Still trying to work out how it was even done!

Ordered a treat for my F2… you’ll have to wait and see 😉
  19. Freddie17

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Tyres (again)

Ok - but Geolanders GO15 are NOT directional. Tyre match and even wear is super-important on an F1 due to the VCU system (assuming it’s all connected and the prop is fitted) So, on an F1, if ever you want/need to run the spare, you need to ensure it has similar wear to the other 4, hence...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) Tyres (again)

Not directional. On my F1, I rotated mine every now and then (including the spare) to ensure even wear on all 5, for the VCU. (Otherwise you end up with a spare that isn’t actually any use longer term)
