Hi, Multi meter on battery terminals with engine off and a good battery should be about 12.45v. Leave MM connected and start engine and should be 14v + If you put your approx location in your profile there may be someone near you who could help. Griff

Hi, No electic expert but it does sound like a major short somewhere. You'll need to methodically trace all wires/looms. Start with the fuses boxes (inside and out) to see if any have blown to give you a start point for the circuit. Our electric gurus will be along soon. Griff

Are you sure it's the gasket and not the pressure reg itself. that's what usually goes. Bosch make. Griff

Could it be a problem with the ign barrel?

Hi Roy, The air con pipes actually drain either side of the gear box. I asume you meant the front suroof. Giff

This usually is an indication of low brake fluid. Remove the filler cap and get someone to watch the light while you manually move the float level switch up and down. If everything is ok then you'll need to check the wiring out - possibly a short to earth causing the light to come on. Griff

Secure a bottle over the short overflow pipe on the resevoir and see if it catches the water. If so I think you'll find you need a new pressure cap and it needs to be tightened well. Griff
