    Manually open back door

Hi You can check earth points. Earth points are connected to directly to the car body. Bad earth can prevent the CCU to work correctly.

Freelander 2 egr coolant leak? Bypass? Plus oil cooler bypass?

Hi, If your EGR is leaking coolant, so blanking it will probably be useless. Better to replace it. For the Oil Cooler is better to know that is leaking before replacing it. Check your oil. Better to do a compression test first, to be sure that you have no Head Gasket issue. If you the Oil...

Freelander 2 egr coolant leak? Bypass? Plus oil cooler bypass?

Hi, Oil cooler can leak internaly and let oil go in the coolant, more common cause than Head Gasket. You can't rely fix an engine that had once a Head Gasket faillure.

Freelander 1 Tank lift pump: '06 TD4... maybe ok?

In the car you certainly ear the pump relay. It not because you ear the pump that the pump is in the way out. Only if the pump is making too much noise. Should make less noise than a portable cooler.

Freelander 1 Tank lift pump: '06 TD4... maybe ok?

Hi I don’t see any problem. The pump will run for almost a minute then stop if you don’t start the engine. The pump is near the rear the wheel arch not in the tank. Regards.

    Freelander 1 Engine removal

The gearbox has only one mount on the left side of the car under the battery. The gearbox is bolted to the engine and also bolted to the IRD. The IRD is cooled by the engine coolant. So you need to flush the coolant, remove the IRD, then the gearbox. Then you can remove the engine.
