Selector shaft assembly.. Has a piped breather like your axles have. Same design of banjo bolt & vent pipe routes to the bulkhead/engine bay.

That patch has covered the drain hole. Check the other side. It could be repaired & start saving for a chassis

Iv had an early RR where the oil has gone back up the speedo cable. Have a check… unless you have the later transducer driven speedo

Can you put a fuel push joiner into the tank? And straight onto fuel pump pipe.

Take the round back plate off(by the handbrake) remove the gear. As splines may be worn & holding it on… Or some one has put a nut on the end of the shaft for fun

@landowner Search Jacksons leisure They have the fiamma tanks and pumps. Also all the water fill points. I have the fiamma tank

Water tank… fitted to boats /campers have a large opening in the top. Put a vent valve in it & you can back fill these. Have 1 in the horse lotry. Cap is big enough to get hands in to put fittings into the side of the tank. Off for a search for you…

It’s a vent. Also if you put too much fluid in it will shoot out the hole.

As long as the switch’s are not important a cubby box will be fine. Reason… you won’t be able to see the switches when you use them.also make sure the cubby box does not have cup holders to interfere with switch’s/usb cables. Search mud dash items. These mount in the centre of the dash
