Always chuckled when I was young.. Birmingham had the F1 grand prix going down the main roads in the town. And the people on day release/community service planted a load of bulbs to spell it out. Plants come up a year later & they had change the X to a CK. and them bulbs were dug up in 24hrs &...

Most of these are restricted and marked on the Os map as such. Even the little signs are up for the restrictions. Iv not seen bikes use these lanes as most are overgrown There are a few permitted fords on the normal roads. Also there was a section of Roman road/BOAT which I can’t find. I am...

    Steering

Depends on the hammer & chisel size used…

    Steering

That is an early arm. Pros for the old part is you can slide these apart making changing the iUJs easier. New style no play in length. & the rubber shock disk if it goes it’s a new arm. I used to keep up on parts but now the brain cell has gave up

    Steering

If you use the 2 piece shaft the ujs are 2 diffent lengths. And you have to put on in correct place otherwise feels like the steering catches. Later style both ujs same length.

Had a Quick Look on https://wiltscouncil.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=43d5a86a545046b2b59fd7dd49d89d22 Think the restriction is in the river crossing. But as you say the OS map shows restriction but definitive map shows as BOAT Best thing with about the area is they are well...

Using OS there is a section now on restriction. Yep this used to be all open.there is a very small sign on the track near Eason grey saying of the changes(looks like a local A4 made sign) spotted while walking the dog last week. Info taken from wilts ROW maps. As you can see it’s 4 wheel...

You have a Ford near bourbon and a length of right of way. Heading towards Cirencester & Cotswold airport. A lot of construction on the new A417 may have closed a lane. some of the lanes on the Motocyle sites are the restricted ones. Plenty of them in that area. It’s a few years since I went...

Getting Gwen the Mini to Run.

I used to run what ever was going on the engine on the v8 SU s(so 20W was been used) Sounds like the right stuff then. Must be the 3 in 1 is thinner so allows the piston/needle to rise quicker Good to see your still progressing with the project.
