The "cotton reel" type poly bushes are a pain on the rear arms, I dont see the improvement. I will find you a video. On my son's Ninety I did it all by hand with bolts and g-clamps. To be fair it was covid lock down so needed to find something to do.

Series 2 Which Carb to choose

Although you have the glass filter bowl on the lift pump we fitted an inline filter , cheap enough.

Td5? I had to cut the head of a ring spanner and then weld a cut down socket so I could put an extension bar up past the fuel rank to undo the nut. Maybe jack the chassis up so the axle is lower, if that makes sense (probably not) You will need to take the arms, chassis brackets, ball joint off...

TD5 Defender fault code reader/diagnostic tool reccommendations

I wonder if it depends on what you want to do. If you have a base model then there will be less systems to diagnose. We don't have a Nanocom but it seems like it covers just about everything you would need.

Series 2 Which Carb to choose

Zenith carbs are prone to warping but can be sanded flat again I do believe. Webber carb was £120 at the time so wasn't worth faffing around, sold the worn out Zenith for rebuild.

Series 2 Which Carb to choose

Welcome to the forum. I would suggest a Webber is the most affordable option. Rebuilt carbs are pretty expensive last time I looked. Don't be tempted by the Chinese Zenith, we had one and it was total rubbish. We then got a good 2nd hand Zenith which lasted a few years, which was replaced by a...

    F****** halfwits!

Why do people need to be told how to behave? All sorts of behaviour is available to be seen on the Internet, some just fine some not, doesn't make it an excuse. The group in the video know full well they were driving where they shouldn't and don't care. It's not like they made a genuine mistake...

    Defender 90 - 1987 - leaky sunroof

    Before someone else says it, it's a Ninety not a 90. It's probably/possibly/most likely a Discovery 200td engine, maybe!

Fit a new roof, well 2nd hand, look a lot better than some alloy sheet.

Some of them have them for timing, I think they line up with the "wrong" slot in the flywheel. Ours doesn't have it, maybe the earlier engines have it? Pretty sure it's on one of TrailerFitters 200tdi videos.

Funny how I did both Ebay links the same and they came out different. Thanks for letting me know, whether I remember or not is a different matter.
