Being a TD4 you can almost guarantee the HP pump is leaking fuel into the engine.

Cos we don't ave to as its 2WD. If it was in good nick, I'd have it. Especially if it was advertised as a 4WD. Cos I'd let them know I know it wasn't and therefore 1/2 the price as only 1/2 the wheels work.

I haven't checked on the F2 but I suspect it would not make a noise when the car is locked or unlocked as there is no mechanical device to open the door - ie a handle. Its a switch. So if the car is locked, it will simply ignore the switch. Make sure you have double unlocked the car. 1 press...

You don't. You could probably run 25" on the front and 35" on the back if you wanted. Might feck up the speedo, but the ABS & TC would still work, HDC might get confused because of the speedo issues. There wouldn't be any mechanical issues because the front is not connected to the back...

Not the 1997-2000 cars, they have a different one. Only the 2000-2006 cars and the only options, other than 2nd hand, look to be genuine at typical LR (over) pricing.

Yeh, with IRS, looks like some lithium needs shifting to the back from the engine bay. Or chop the springs down a bit :cool:

Can't help that much, but in most regions pressing the unlock button on the fob once will only unlock the drivers door. It needs to be pressed again to open the other doors.

Dunno about a conventional battery, but I'm sure you could mount a lithium 12v. It would be a lot smaller, if more expensive. I presume a VSR works with lithium because of the slight voltage difference. I'd have thought it would but might need a DC DC converter. Your biggest problem might be...

When I was last looking the IRD coolers were much cheaper than that. I found it very difficult to get the old one off, but maybe I was doing it incorrectly. Yes, its plumbed in to the engine cooling system.
