    Fuel Pump, battery, what next...?

Others may be able to correct me, but i think that duff diodes in the alternator could allow a drain even though the alternator still charges the battery? Pete

    Alternator

Yes they can make a terrible noise. Mine sounded like stones were caught in the alternator. You can read about my problem in this thread http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/weird-alternator-problem-help-please-129428.html The fix is at post 12 in the thread. Pete

    Rev counter not working

Is your ignition warning lamp working correctly, and the alternator charging the battery? Mine had a poor connection to the ignition warning light in the instrument panel, which stopped the 12v exciter feed to the alternator. The alternator then didn't generate power or the rev-counter...

Intermittent 'Alternator Fault', 'Gearbox Fault', no rev counter.

May be worth checking the earth straps and and cleaning the connections. Sometimes they can corrode inside any insulated covering. Pete

    Nanocom investigations (poor mpg)

For those (like me) who had never heard of KPa...... 1 Kilopascal (kPa) = 0.145037738 Psi (Pound Per Square Inch) Kilopascal is a metric unit and equals a force of 1000 Newtons per square metre. Pete
