Did you post on FB a few days ago with the same? It looks familiar .😁 It looks much better with the white roof in my opinion. White steel wheels will look much better than alloys too. Personally, I’m not a fan of alloys on a defender.

I’d like to do Strata Florida but this is one of the reasons I haven’t. I’m amazed by the number of posts on social media of people who either go there alone and get stuck or flood their vehicles on a river crossing or groups who drive off-piste.

Is the body out of alignment? The rear body on my old series 3 looked straight until I fitted a hardtop which showed it wasn’t quite straight and the rear safari door, fitted with the hardtop wouldn’t shut properly. A farm jack soon put it straight again.

No tools kept under my passenger seat, the large battery takes most of the space. I keep a box of assorted tools in the back.

Engine and gearbox mounts, timing belt if it’s a 300Tdi, check the steering box for wear and leaks.

I got mine on eBay. There are quite a few. Just a case of finding one close enough unless you use a courier to collect it. What type are you after? Aluminium, steel, flat or box section?

Having it garaged and extra security measures help. But as mentioned, age, driving history and location are big factors in what you will pay. Declare all modifications as insurers will use any excuse not to pay out if you claim.

Nice Landy! The conversion looks like a nice bit of work too. My wife refused to have a 110 when I got my 90 ten years ago, saying it was too big. But she’s only driven my 90 a few times since then!
