Check the pedal pivot points are free moving. Not the correct valance, 63 would be flat topped.

I replaced a front axle on a mates truck for one from a Disco and just used spacers. Simple way is just to get the wider arms with the replacement axle if you can.

Swap the hazard switch first then.

I folded the wiper motor cover myself and cut a top plate to suit, couple of little pop rivet brackets hold the two parts together. Open at the bottom. No cover on check strap.
