Your best thinking about sorting a replacement torque converter because that know doubt is the cause of the shudder ( been there done that, just replaced mine for same reason 2008 my 3.6 tdv8) if left it will break up and end up having to replace gearbox as well, and yes did try DR Tranny fix...

When my tv unit packed up I had nothing , no light on screen no radio no nav no phone. having read all I could find on forums I opted to start with tv unit and hit gold first go (made a change normally last thing I try turns out to be first thing I should have try`d lol).

It could be one of the units in the fibre optic loop has gone down had this on my 2008 l322 which turned out to be the tv unit replaced with a second hand unit , you can buy fibre optic loop through kit to loop out each unit in turn to see if problem is fixed.

Yes it does and yes it will, friend of mine that has a 405 and it gave problems when second battery started to fail, change battery and all good after.

In theory you prise it out the front but in practice I found its far easier to pop the end panel of dash off and reach in and push it out from the back or just twist the bulb holder out and leave the light in place .

The rollers are motor driven so never stop, if one wheel isnt braking the computer knows this and keeps that wheel turning and register low effort on that wheel while other wheel will show a reading not the best explanation I know if one wheel does lock up the rollers keep going and the tester...

The brake roller computer works out the drag forward and backward and gives an average so front and rear prop never turns same with hand brake so dont worry about it my 04 l322 was tested like this for 5 years I had it and the 08 i have now just passed its test done that way with no issues.

The rear tail gate C/L on my 89 classic was very unreliable even with a new unit, chap I knew with a later soft dash found the same, had to keep it locked because had his shot guns in there (farmer type chap).

EAS HDC and ABS are normal codes with flat battery doing the steering wheel lock to lock should clear them.
