cylinders 1 and 2 share a port as do 3 and 4 so it doesn't make sense If two and three are black then I can't think of a cure off hand Maybe a plug problem, clean em off and swap them around see what happens

Looking to buy a Freelander and as I can't find anything decent amongst the older models I've decided to get something about 15 years old. I was wondering what engine is in the later models 2008 to 2012 ish and are they any good ?

What engine or have I missed something?

Mornin Dry warm and sunny Bathroom fitter did two hours work yesterday and left. Waited 5 hours for electrician to come and remove shower, ended up doing it myself :( See if any progress today, meantime I have just a toilet in an empty room :) Hope today is kind to everyone Stay happy all :)

The bulb I have in it is yellow and has two contacts. The bulb I need and would be the same as the spot lamp has single contact 🙂

I use these for oil, good quality and fast reliable delivery Don't need fancy oils for Mini, I used to use Rotella diesel oil years ago...

You're probably right Early cars were 4.5 gallons then the tank was made bigger for the 1275 GT mid seventies, I think all Minis got bigger tank a few years later :)

Only used to hold 4 and a half gallons 🤔 😛😛

Only a bolt holding the tank strap though and you can whip it out :)

Tank outlet in the boot and then should be a metal pipe running along under the car. Electric pump fine but watch pressure as it can overcome the float valve and flood.

Excellent There's a small filter in the floatbowl where the fuel enters but one of those in line plastic filters would do the job
