that may be so but it would still leave the tank free to bounce up and down on it or slide side to side. unless of course it was done up tight enough to force the tank against the boot floor!

looks good and looks nice but also about £80 more than i have right now and also i see nothing on there to stop the tank floating about free above it! my goal is to stop tank movement and protect it from below. edit: if i had the cash that would be the one for the 2nd part of my plan though :)

I'm not trying to remove the tank I'm repairing the cradle just the tank seems to be floating free without the cradle in place!

Tried searching can't find anything so just got stuck in. Cradle has snapped on my D1 300tdi started removing the half's and tank seems free is the cradle all that holds the tank in place. Thanks for replies guys in advance I'm fightin it now so any one who knows drop in a reply please lol

putting an empty (tyre free) rim on the car. without tyre there is about an inch over hang so i figure with tyre thats going to be 2 at least!

all i can tell you is there steels and 16 x 8j anything more than that i dont know they we given to me (free) so i accepted given the alloys are not only crap but no good for what i do most weeks. i can put up a few pics if you want :)
