Maybe ask on forum is any one has used the Britpart kit and how they did there must try and see. Maybe as a suggestion, with an empty tank, and if it can be done, empty the tank and fit the sensor on its lowest setting in the tank, than slowly refill the tank measuring the litres until the...

    Part numbers (stub axle)

The front axel for the 300 series will be from VIN JA032852. Thats1995 to1998 model years. So all you need to know is which side and if ABS or not plus axel fitted, as it appears it can be a mine field☹️ You should find whats what in the above parts book, although the link doesn’t seem open to...

So as soon as the gauge is touching zero you could be in trouble ? Better to have at lease a gallon left. Any dash indicator is depending on the fuel sensor functioning correctly, so may be just finding break in a wire feeding it, a little job for u on a nice sunny day 😊

    Fuel sender unit

If fitted with a genuine tank and a fuel level sensor you shouldn’t need to do any thing regarding adjusting the sensors float. Perhaps find out how much fuel is left when the gauge hits Red, and then decide on the amount of fuel for a reserve u are happy with.🤔 Have I tried the international...

Discovery 2 V8 Measure Battery Voltage using Nanocom

No, its surprising isn’t it, the drain from the D1 battery causing that amount of voltage lost, but its better than my brothers jag as he found out when he arrived back to the uk and collected his car at the airport car park after just two weeks. V8 same battery.

Ok I expect it’s where you are in the world if it happens. ☹️ I have always carried jump leads but never used them and will not to be of used on modern cars maybe, as “jump packs” are now promoted for modern cars, but I will still carry on paying for road side rescue, just in case, a brand new...

When once my 3.9 had a intermittent time with it it’s idling I put Redex Petrol System Cleaner into the tank and the issue never returned, maybe using supermarket petrol (which I still use) caused the issue so a fuel cleaner is still used once a year. With my 3.5 a clogged crankcase breather...

So, from your attached video we see that the engine at idle of around 1750rpm, then there’s a few blips of the throttle and then after the revs drop slightly below the idle speed, then will increase back to 1750rpm… yes? Also unfortunately i’m confused with your statement “when I apply the gas...
