That's what i have planned - filter kit arrived yesterday, oil already sorted, need some good weather this weekend to get underneath her as its a do it on the drive job. :)

looking at all the info on web yes its got a magnet

was not going to take it out on the road just cycle through the gears for a few mins just to get the fluid through the filter - just a thought as it might clean the remaining oil slightly then do a filter - oil change and throw away temp filter

silly question time is there any way to add a new filter inline to take the crap out the fluid say for 5 mins, just to get the crap out, then do the filter and 2x atf change just to get as much gunge out as you cant get all the old oil out doing it by just draining the sump

does this get out most of the oil, also do you need to cycle thru the gears

I've read quite a bit online re how to do so think its a job i can attempt, before I do has anybody any advice on sump filter parts eg. where to buy and which make as read some seals don't fit exactly - also what is the best ATF to chose as it will be dropped again in a few hundred miles and...
