Hello can i use a disco to tow a disco using an A-Frame i'm looking at an A-Frame that also brakes the towed vehicle If i can use an a frame has any one used one, what type and was it ok

we will be there thursday night till monday with 3 x discos, 1 x 90 plus the misses a few mates and 3 mad springer spaniels and any one else who turns up.if any one wants a cupper the misses will always put the kettle on just look for 3 mad springers probably in water lol

sorry for the delay went away for 2 weeks now they say it is the ecu amr 6228 has any one got one of these for sale as im not so sure and dont want to spend a fortune on one if it is the pump and not this

Hi no not yet they are looking at the wiring loom under the bonnet will let you know asap

thanks they did not say but it has no power to the pump i will let you know what they do hope to here tomorrow

yes the fuel is intermittent some times i get fuel at no1 and then no fuel also i cannot get any fuel at 2,3,4

i have just been told that it is a electrical problem and the loom under the bonnet will have to be taken out and checked this sounds like it might cost me (they reckon it will take about 10 hours to do)

Hi I cleaned the fuel system,new lift pump, new filter,pumped fuel up to bleed on filter, powered up stop on injector pump(this clicks), cranked her over had fuel at no1 but nothing at 2,3,4. no4 has a wire that i think goes to fuse box under bonnet,this fuse had a dead short but been told...

can i bypass the immobilser on my 1996 300tdi auto (the one without the direct throttle cable). i think it connected to the pump,i have tried connecting a wire to the stop solenoid

i will look at the filter housing as i have checked just about every thing else, i have even connected a fuel can with pipe to the new lift pump do you know if it will or could suck air in on the return pipes from injectors to pump

took the stop solenoid apart and now it is working so it might not be the pump. i'm still getting some bubbles at the bleed screw but i did get some fuel on no1 injector so not sure were to go next it also has a dead short on the fuse for no4 injector fuse

as it has a wire going to no4 injector and a wire going to a censor in the top of the head i assume it is the edc model

i have a 1996 300tdi auto and the injector fuse keeps blowing does any one know what this is for

i have just looked at taking the injector pump off is it as bad as it looks ?? as mind is an auto can i just change the pump or will it have to be of another auto

no power to the stop solenoid i think it is the immobliser (i will have to get the key code tomorrow) i think i might need a new stop solenoid but will try the code first does it just unscrew thanks
