What did you do with your Range Rover today

I think this one knows I mean business because I have some good contacts in DVSA or whatever they're called this week. A refund will be cheaper for him rather than " a visit" from the local DVSA enforcement people about MoT test standards. Or Border Force if you know what I mean. :)

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I've done nothing with my car so far this week. I went int the garden on Saturday to feed the wild birds, fell over and fractured 3 ribs. Been in hospital ever since! Phoned the dealer I got the car from, he said take it back and he will refund my money. Deep joy.

    What L322 to avoid?

It's been a rather different weekend...having worried about swapping cars I managed to trip over in the garden whilst feeding the wild birds and fractured 3 ribs! Stiil in hospital at the moment dosed up with Morphine. I spoke to the seller of my current car, he hasn't fond anything to replace...

Put a deposit down on a 2011 RRS

Is the mileage you're quoting actually miles or kilometers? there's a big difference. There shouldn't be a problem as Finland and Italy are EU countries.

P38A Service Brake right on the MOT limit...

Yep, the new all-singing all-dancing digital Tapley meter. One of my bus engineering colleagues has recently bought one. quite clever stuff, it can tell you what the reading is on each wheel without connecting anything anywhere! 100% brake efficiency is almost impossible to achieve as wheels...

    TüV problem in Germany

About 10 years ago I was working in Germany fixing old London buses, I took my 52 reg L322 as my work car with tools and bits. One of the rear lights had a crack and allowed water to gather inside the light unit, it didn't affect the lights so I didn't worry about it. But as I was checking over...

TD6 2003 L322 Rangerover Sound system making a brrp, brrp, brrp when car is locked/before entering key

I learnt fro a body shop that there was a factory and dealer mod to prevent water ingress round the rear lft windw, the seals at the top of the window fail. It involved fitting a plastic sheet over the electrical gubbins to stop water dripping straight onto it. Sadly I didn't keep the LR info...

    What L322 to avoid?

An adventurous day, visit to the dealer in deepest Essex who advertises the 4.4 Vogue with 8 speed box, 137,000 miles on the clock for just under £6k. It's a very tidy car, a bit of a blemish on the back bumper and the high level stop light broken, the gas struts under the bonnet need to be...

    What L322 to avoid?

I don't know if DAB was standard on the 10 reg car I've got at the moment as the radio doesn't work! I don't like the adverts, but the BBC is not my first choice of radio these days. BTW, my partner's Disco 4 van has been ok, apart from initial steering/tracking problems, turbo change and...

    What L322 to avoid?

All of them sounds like good advice!! I had a Velara as a loan car when my 08 Vogue was hit by a bus. It was truly the most awful car I've driven. There was nothing about it I iked. I couldn't get mey hand between the seats to do up my seat belt, the auto-lane control thingy was a nightmare, it...

    What L322 to avoid?

The internet market place has thrown up a 4.4TDV8 with a dealer in Essex. He assures me its a good'un, new moT today, no defetcs, no christms tree lights on the dash, and within my budget, 137000 on the clock. The vendor of my current car is getting a couple in over the next few days, I'll see...

    What L322 to avoid?

an internet search on a popular auction site shows some half sensible 4.4TDV8 cars with dealer warranty with about 130,000 miles on the clock. If my last dealer can't supply anything better today he will have to give my money back. A question though, on the facelift version, they don't seem to...

    What L322 to avoid?

Ravin'mad pal, ravin' mad! I haven't had another car that gives the room I need, not that I'm vastly overweight, I just can't bend as I used to. I need restoring.

    What L322 to avoid?

But, with my progressive illnesses with being over retirement age I need a big car so I don't have to bend or stretch too much to get in and out.
  19. R

    What L322 to avoid?

Yes, with the current car and the one before. The 08 Vogue was from a reputable garage and a transfer box broken soon after purchase covered under warranty extension, the only other problem until this year was an inlet manifold cracking. And that was on about 200,000 miles. The 52 reg car bought...

L322 Gearbox / Torque Conv Replace / Rebuild or not

Is it worth keeping then? It seems like a lot of expense to use once again. But then so are my vintage buses!
