    painting my landy etc

I've done it both with things left on and loads of masking tape and things stripped off No doubt the latter gives the better result, but then not always looking for a 'show room shine' on a 20 year old Landy!

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

Brilliant you got a move alert Yes it should keep sending alerts roughly every 3 mins until you cancel it using the 'nomovexxxxxx' password Don't think there are any customisable commands to stop it just keeping sending, so only think that might be impacting is strength of mobile signal

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

Now that's a thought if the OP is moving from inside to powering up in the Landy and the immediately going for a drive. Must confess I'd forgotten that Power it up in the Landy. Do the 'check' or phone and hang up test to make sure all working. Leave 15 mins then send the move command and...

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

Very odd - running out of ideas :-( I live very rural too and know (sometimes) there can be a slight delay in the unit sending an acknowldgement text - but rarely more than a 2 - 3 min delay Oh, and did you try the phone the tracker, let it ring 3 times, hang up test - it should reply with...

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

If not working, must be something really odd. I know it's SIM sensitive (woks with 2g not 3g) If still not working, might suggest factory reset and restart installation protocols

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

TK103 Tracker - Am I doing it right?

Command needs to be entered as Movexxxxxx 0500 Where xxxxxxx is the 6 digit pin you set and 0500 refers to a 500m radius You can put in whatever distance if you wish - I use 0700 for 700m (avoids false alerts due to satellite drift)

Assuming it was working before and nothing silly like fuse blown due to shorting when installing, guessing one of the wires has either cracked or a connector has come off Might be worrth using a probe to check power to the wiring (by piercing the cable insulation) as close as you can get to...
